Want it to develop into a more serious show where they cover arcs through various episodes over 1 episode each or see more members join and get digimon even but we likely won't be seeing that happen. Almost thought last episode that would happen with the Teddy Bear.

Seeing Zubamon was nice and all but I expected Lamortmon to appear. Oh well...

I have to admit, seeing Zubamon was an unexpected surprise but... I kinda hate the way they wasted him, like "Here I am, my job is done now, later!"... unless of course, they plan to make him kinda the recurrent character hopefully?

In any case, and for no one's surprise, Angoramon didn't get a new evolution... which is to be expected, as the meme of him never getting a new evolution needs to go on, probably it's gonna the tradition of this show you know? Shafting Angoramon, always being the last to cross the finish line.

In any case, this episode was kinda good and bad... good because possessed Angoramon was scary and you have to respect his mental fortitude to avoid being controlled by the sword for so long, and bad because... what the heck was that Hiro's dad?

I was legit hyped for the answer to the letter and we only got a lame joke, then again, Hiro's question was kinda lame too so no surprises that he got such reply... oh well, next episode looks interesting so let's see how Gammamon tackles this one.

If Clockmon, Mummymon, and Reppamon this episode wasn't any indication, we can suspect Zubamon may come back into the show one day. I do like to point out this time it was Ruli who figured out where Angoramon was and she lead the others to save him from his predicament based on what Angoramon talked about the day before he supposedly went missing.

It was so like Hiro's dad but even then it doesn't help that Hiro asked him something that has no real answer to when dealing with Digimon who can't be reasoned with.

From the preview of next episode, it looks like a Doppelganger type of Digimon situation and Gammamon has to buck up to call out the Doppelganger.

Because he's the most rational member of the party, hence why the spotlight shines on him often.

The most mature among the three Digimon pretty much and I have a feeling a Digimon like Angoramon don't evolve as easily.

I personally don't mind them not giving ultimate to Angoramon, he most of the time fights smart not hard and the ultimate is a rage monster. Also the letter sub-plot went nowhere which is sad... but who cares, MY BOY ZUBAMON HAD HIS DEBUT!!

i am pretty sure angoramon will only digievolve if the plot ever tackles gulusgammamon ever again so we have a case of "2 berserker evolutions"
ironically, jellymon would be the only one available to digievolve and remain good in that case
